ANitC's HD Remake - Starswirl's Wish · 8:31pm Jan 17th, 2016
I finally (and by finally, I mean like two months ago) decided on a name for the finished project that is to redo A Noise in the Closet. As you can see from the title of the blog, it will be called Starswirl's Wish. Pretty fancy, eh?
This story has been in the making for a long time, and I greatly apologize for how long some of you have had to wait - as such, I have decided to let all of you in on some designs that have been coming through over the past several months. Specifically, the map layout of the story.
Wa-bam. We are going to be seeing a huge westward, eastward, and southward expansion in this story, covering from the far west of the Montana plains, the deep republican south of Texas, and the frigid north of Maine's Canadian border. For comparison, all the blue tacks are new important locations while the sole yellow tack is the only important location within the entirety of the previous title - Will's home.
The location of the original's story will remain a key area of the story - for three characters in particular, but I can spoil that Will will not be making a reappearance in this installment by any means other than logical hints. The main six will be the key characters of the story, each with one to three human companions, with an end goal of seeing what happened to the long deceased Starswirl the Bearded. The story will come to a close with 12 of the 14 primary cast meeting up in the closing location of Chicago. I cannot tell you guys how much I am in love with some of these characters - especially one of Applejack's companions and one of Rainbow Dash's.
While I have previously stated that Sunset Shimmer would be making an appearance, she is merely a guide within this story as I found having her used would be nearly pointless for me. Keep an eye on the trivia section of my blog for more info on stuff that has been removed or changed with the story.
