Hello all!
I'll get right to the point: To those of you reading Spectrum, I feel kind of bad for making you guys wait almost 3 times as long as normal for a chapter without getting much in the way of explanations and updates. So, I've decided that I'm going to start keeping you guys updated! From now on, I'll be posting a new blog post every Monday at Noon (pacific time), giving you guys updates on how the next chapter/chapters of Spectrum are progressing, as well as just talking about whatever I find interesting on a given day.
And all of that starts today! First off, progress on Chapter 10: There hasn't been much, to be honest. If I were to give it a percentage completion, I'd say I'm about 10% done with the first draft, although even that is a bit generous. Hopefully this chapter won't take me ten weeks to finish!
Speaking of, I noticed something kind of spooky about chapter 9:
Even though it's numbered "9", it was the 10th part of the story I've yet written.
It released 10 weeks after chapter 8.
It released 10 months after I started working on the story.
10/10/10
And if that wasn't coincidental enough, 10/10/10 is the date MLP FiM first aired.
