Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, thank you to everyone who took the time to read my little Hearth's Warming Tale. Because now I really want to talk about something interesting.
Hearth's Warming Eve in Canterlot received the same amount of views that Sky's Still Blue did, just over the course of a few days instead of a month. This, is surprised me. I also noticed that its my longest story so far and while it isn't as popular as the little piece of nothing I wrote on the side. I still feel it was relieved rather well.
All things considered, I am proud of the six stories I managed to write this year. And considering the year that I've had, its quite an accomplishment.
Now, I know that I've it doesn't sound like a lot. But considering the amount of time and effort I put into my stories, well, most of them...I would like to think that I've done ok.
I know this seems to like a pretty pointless thing to bring up, but I just thought I might point it out in order to reflect on the way that my writing and my audience have changed.
As I have grown older, my writing has matured and my style has slowly formed. While I am still but a sapling, just a sprout I have planted my roots firmly into the ground and in time, will grow and change with the seasons. With each passing year, a stronger tree grows. A stronger writer, a stronger person, a stronger girl.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I will see you all in the new year.
