    Stormrider is Out!

Finally, after all this time, I've gotten Stormrider where I wanted and have posted it. This is my final new story before I start going back to my older ones. I know this project has been heavily delayed, but no more! The Stormrider

    -Cheers for That!

    Small Update

I am still around and I have been writing more. I just haven't released anything as of late. The main story I have been working on is The Stormrider. I have 7 chapters written and my plans extended to further chapters. Expect it soon. I'm trying to decide a good day to release it and Eagles, you may get an early look at it.
    That is all

    Want a Hearth's Warming story?

So, yes, I have thrown my entry into the rising pile of Christmas/Hearth's Warming fictions. This one is about Starlight with the help of Spike, getting Trixie a Hearth's Warming gift. It's the first time Starlight has ever done such a thing and she needs help.

So will she get Trixie the best Hearth's Warming gift? Well, she may give something she didn't expect.

Chapter Length · 2:30pm Dec 19th, 2015

Alright guys, this is just a simple question for my readers.

Do you care about chapter length?

Why I ask is because I am writing the climax of Harmony's Creed, and it's already over 6000 words and I'm not even half way done. So, do you care if it goes beyond 10k words for one chapter or would you just want me to submit the first half and wait for the second half later? Either way works for me, but the later method feels better for some unknown reason.

Please split the chapter up. At over 6000 words and still growing I want it being part of the finale I want at least one good cliffhanger. What scares me is that all the deaths that will happen they will not carry the weight that they should. From my understanding is that we still have 9 deaths to go. After all these chapter I kinda do not want their deaths coming to fast as they those their impact on the reader.

3628770 9? Will do you get that number from? Are we getting ahead of ourselves? :ajsmug:

But yes, I know what ya mean. That has been a concern of mine as well.

Well, expect the chapter soon then. I hit the point where I thought it would be wise to split it.

From hints dropped in previous chapters I have these people dieing:
Applejack
Rarity
Pinkie
Celestia
Luna
Sunset Shimmer
Twilight Sparkle
Fluttershy
Discord/Vinyl
Hidden for folks who may not want to know!

These are the folks I have inferred who will probably be dead by the end of the story based of in story conversations. The last one I can see either going but one of them will probably die.

Edited to fix the spoilers. Stupid IPad.

3628908 I can see why you would think that. But no, there's too many on that list. I'm not going full Game of Thrones here :derpytongue2:

Could have fooled me!:derpytongue2:
In all seriousness I want all the deaths that are coming to kick me right in the feels with a steel toed boot, except for the possible Twilight and Sunset deaths. Those I want an epic worthy of an Assassin's Creed game final villain. Like the ending of the second game for example.

The main question should be how does the chapter feel to you? Is there a point where a split/cliffhanger feels natural? Or is the action so fast paced that taking a break would disrupted the flow?

If at all possible, let the chapters write themselves and see where you end up. I had some of my better chapters come out that way.

3629148 I'm been thinking of this as well. But I think it badninja is right. If I keep the climax going and going in one stage of reading, then you may forget what happened earlier in the chapter.

It is a fast pace chapter as I don't want to spend 2K words on anything meaningless. I have been told to get to the point like a bullet when it comes to such situations.

It's not the length, it's what you do with it.

...that sounded better in my head.
