Update and the Force Awakens · 7:50am Dec 18th, 2015
This is really strange.
I've been pretty good at keeping a consistent flow of words going, even if it isn't in my more popular stories. Somewhere in mid to late November, however, something strange happened. It was as if I completely forgot how to write. Not like writer's block, mind you, it was just I could not for the life of me make the images in my head sound entertaining. I knew exactly what was going to happen, yet everything that was put to the pen read like utter garbage.
This has been my thought process since the beginning of the month. I've just been banging my head against the wall and hope words fall out. It's like playing Dark Souls yet being unable to learn the boss' attack patterns. It's made even worse because I'm at the end of the story; that shouldn't be more than 3k words left to write. 4k tops. Literally three things happen and no scene changes are involved. Christ, I forgot how to write.
I'm not sure why, but my current project is something akin to a yearly tradition. I write a clop every year for Christmas. First was Apprivoiser, then SINless Desire, and now my third year a little something called I Should Stop Watching.... First chapter is done, and I am so close to bloodletting onto pages just to see if I can get the right words out for the second and final chapter.
I know some people, despite the chapter progress stats on my main page, would like to know what's on the docket. Here's what I intend to do, at least after I finish ISSW and then forget I ever wrote it:
> Finish ISSW
> Next chapter of At the End
> Finish Liquid Courage
> Next chapter of Grey Hat
> Finish that Timberjack story people have been begging me for.
> Anther entry for SCP-███
This list might be subject to change, but that's the general order in my head. I find it inadvisable to work on more than one project at a time (two is pushing it). We'll see how things turn out. If ISSW doesn't give me an aneurysm first.
Also, I'm going to see the Force Awakens tomorrow night. I'm very excited to see it. I have deliberately avoided every speak of the hype train except for two early trailers. I want to go in completely blind. Expect my thought on it in the dead of night. my movie reviews have been known to be very lengthy and detailed, so expect a thorough deconstruction if you want to catch a review of it before you see it. That is unless my brother is a lying asshole and doesn't really have an extra ticket to the showing.
Either way, I am so ready for this
On a side note, would Cadance be a Sith? Jedi and love are fickle things.
