From Caramel to Toffee Follow-up (Finally!) · 9:50pm Dec 15th, 2015
I'm gonna set the scene. It was two months ago, I was sitting by my desktop, having just gone over the final edits for my story, and I thought to myself "No one is even going to see this." I was perfectly content with that, I didn't write it looking for fame or glory, but I was slightly worried that I wouldn't get any feedback on the story I had put the most effort into so far (keep in mind that I legitimately thought no one would even happen to scroll past it because of the tags). But two months later, 1,900 views, 209 likes, and 2 days on the front page of fimfiction, I find myself amazed that I was even capable of writing something that got so big. Granted it may not seem big in comparison to other fics, but it's big for me damn it. It got the most views for a noteworthy and caramel fic independently this year, that something to be proud of, I think.
Side note, I love Noteworthy, why isn't he more popular, he should be.
Anyway, I just wanted To say thank you to everyone that viewed my fic, it brings warmth to my heart that people liked it. I did find out that it's basically headcanon for some people now, which completely blows my mind. Have a nice day and keep your eye out, there might be something else coming your way from me (emphasis on might).

But don't get your hopes up about some kind of sequel.
The story I'm writing at the moment has nothing to do with that universe, characters or themes (though there might be a noteworthy cameo if I need a random person in the background) and I don't even know if that's going to be released.
I do have an idea or two for returning to those characters but it won't be anything like 'From Caramel to toffee' and instead will be something completely different (As far as theme is concerned). But I mean whatever I do, the events of this fic are integral to Toffee's character so they won't be ignored.
I don't want to disappoint you, but the idea of a direct sequel (A 'From Caramel to Toffee 2: Toffee harder' or 'return of the Caramel' if you will) anytime soon probably isn't likely because I have no idea that for one that doesn't seem forced and I'm already happy with the ending. But anything's possible, I don't know how I'll feel after I'm done with the story I'm writing.
Yeah I decided to explain that because you really liked the fic and that made me happy, and I don't hurt people who make me happy (at least not intentionally).

Even if your new story has nothing to do with it, I'm sure I will love it. you've shown that you have some great writing skills! whatever you do I will be happy with.
