I know the entire fandom's in an uproar about the Derpinator--quite rightly, too--but I hope that the rest of the episode's sheer amazingness doesn't get overlooked in all the furor. Because today's episode was wall-to-wall amazingness. In particular, the part that I've watched about ten million times already and am still laughing out loud at, every single time:

"What? Pinkie!"

*WHAM*

"Rainbow! Go back!"

"No time! They knew what they were getting into!"

Seriously, that might have been the best ten seconds of my entire life.

Also, someone really, really needs to write an episode aftermath story about Rarity confronting Rainbow Dash about being left behind and Pinkie Pie confronting Applejack about breaking her Pinkie Promise (which she totally did, technicalities aside). Ideally, I see this story as eventually developing into ApplePie and RariDash.

I personally loved and ended up watching the whole kumquat scene too many times. I'd love to have some sort of magical Pinkie Pie toy that just starts talking quickly about different things if you say one thing to it; certainly would be entertaining to have when bored.
