That finale got me thinking... · 7:53am Dec 1st, 2015
Seeing the alternate timeline where Chrysalis had won and the remaining ponies were hiding out in the forest... It got me thinking about my stories. Like, how my characters and story arcs would be altered by this complete change of history. The more I looked into it, the more interesting it got. So, let me cut to the chase here:
I'm thinking about "re-writing" one of my stories such that it takes place in this alternate timeline where Chrysalis has won. The prime candidate for a re-write (that is, a story that would still have meat to it after stripping the familiar elements away) would have to be The Unforeseen. Especially since it covers a second invasion of Equestria, which in this timeline would not need to happen. "Mercy" and Vertigo would find themselves in an entirely new scenario! I honestly don't how exactly the new story will play out, but I suppose that's all the more fun it is to write it, yeah?
Heck, maybe it won't even be a tragedy this time!
Great, now I've gotten myself inspired with all these possibilities.
So yeah... Screw the horror trilogy's conclusion (the second one isn't getting any views anyways), I'm just gonna change gears and write a [relatively] nice T-rated story again.
