Hey guys, so for those who don't know I posted a blog last night discussing whether or not I should write a specific fic. A fic that includes a specific fetish. A fetish I find very taboo, yet it peaks my curiosity. Here's the discussion.
But I must ask you all: The audience, because your words matter more than mine! So, I have to ask, should I write a diaper fic? Another question, and I want the God's honest truth.
Will you all look down upon me if I write such a thing? If I end up writing it, will you all look down on me?
Please, answer these questions for me. I am currently unable to decide for myself.

Even if I'm grossed out by some of them, I at least understand most fetishes. The diaper fetish? This has always completely and utterly baffled me. I don't get it. Why would anyone find grown people acting like infants arousing? Are you basically just admitting to being a pedophile?
In short: no. Please, do not write this story. I'm sure the mods deal with enough unappealing stuff on a day to day basis without this being foisted on them.
I honestly love diaper fics in fact there one of my favorite genres on here so no I would not look down on you and I really hope you do make a story like this
3574414 Well, I actually took the liberty of researching this certain fetish. Me personally, I'm not... Er, interested... Anyway, the research tells me that there are two versions of this fetish. The act of being a young child or baby, or just wearing diapers. The fic I have in mind won't really be either of those. It would mostly be a story about Sunset having to purchase diapers because... Oh wow it sounds weird when I type it out. But anyway, she has to buy them because although she's toilet trained, when she changed into a human form, she has a difficult time in making it to the bathroom in time so she has to purchase them just in case. It wouldn't be anything perverted or anything of the sort, it would just be about that.
I'm just worried if I write the fic, people will think less of me and look down upon me.
I don't think I'd read that. But at least it isn't sexual.

It absolutely disgusts me, but if you really REALLY want to (which you must, if you watched the entire Shia lebouf video full sound) than go for it! I mean, it's defiantly the darker side of this fandom, and in fact almost made me leave this fandom, and kept hundreds from joining this fandom...

3574728 I've been thinking... Thinking really, really hard, it took your comment to finally help me make a decision.
I don't think I want to write the story anymore... If people will think of me as a freak or a weirdo, then I don't want to risk it. Hell, I don't even find the diaper fetish appealing, it's just different from what I'm used to is all. I realize now that, yeah, this story would be adding to the darker side of the fandom, and I don't want to do that. It's based of a kid's show for God sake... Am I a freak? Am I a freak for even thinking of such an idea?
I write romances... Not fetish fics. What was I thinking? I'm sorry...
3574800 Hey man, don't be sorry! You're not a freak or a weirdo, you're just an incredible writer trying to experiment with something new! Personally I'm relieved that you're not writing it, but mostly because I DONT want you getting that hate. Also, it's very mature of you to recognize what you and your audience are comfortable with, so nice job! And don't be sorry, thinking about exploring a fetish is not even that sick. Writing it out? Maybe. But the fact that you asked other people and remembered who this show was made for gives you a lot of respect in my eyes.

3574817 Thank you. I deeply thank you for helping me come to a conclusion. I suppose my imagination got the best of me. It sounds odd I know, but I guess it's because I've been stuck with writers block, and whenever I see a picture like that, my imagination machine gets turning, and I think of a story. No matter how odd it may be.
So thank you for helping me realize that what I was about to do wouldn't be right. Not for me, or my audience.
I will admit. Diapers are not my thing. At all. But as long as others don't judge me, I won't judge them. But it depends on a lot of things.
Have you read such fics before? If so, what were their ratings? And why do you want to write this specifically? What will others thing of you? (Feel free to ignore me.)
I won't see you in a darker light. A fic is just a fic. Others will like it. Others won't. So it's all up to you.

3575724 Yeah, you're on the late show pal. But I'll tell you this, most of the fics I saw during research were mostly clops. But in true GOB fashion, mine would be far different from the others. But like you saw here, I decided against it. Thinking it wasn't right for me or my audience
Honestly, the group of people that'll actually like it would be very limited and small. And it's, as my friend would put it, 'not my cup of tea'. As such, I would have to say no.
That said, I can't speak for you. It would be your story. So long as you like it, you might as well. But, that's my view on the matter. Unti next time,
