Yeah. New story up in a little less than an hour!
Sorry about the delay. I decided to wait for a response from EqD before submitting, which took a little over a week. I am definitely not surprised by the reply that I got, haha. I knew exactly what issue they were going to have with it, and sure enough, they did (I am pretty sure they didn't even read past the first couple of pages, hahaha)! I argued with myself for a long time whether or not I should change it knowing that some people (like the pre-reader) would be unable to see past (and probably for good reason) the issue in question, but ultimately, I wrote this story as a challenge of character taboos, and so I left it. I don't want to spoil anything, but rest assured, it will be obvious as soon as you start reading it, haha.
In other words, I am very interested to see what you guys think! I constructed this character very deliberately, knowing that people are probably not going to like it very much. It was an experiment, and all good experiments need feedback, so please, if you read it, please let me know how you find it! I will probably do a post-mortem blog talking about the issue in much greater depth, but I am always open to discussion in the interim.
Still, at the end of the day, I am trying to tell a story with these characters, so hopefully it all works out. There is plenty of Mystic-worldbuilding and description, and a host of creepy characters, so I hope you all like it! It sure was fun to write!
Depending on how it is received, the final two parts should be out relatively soon. (Also, a high five to the first person who can work out what the main character's name is a reference of!)

And I'm so busy this weekend getting ready to post 5 chapters spread across three stories.
And, to my shame, I still need to read your previous story. 
I will make sure to check it out! Though I still need to read through All Paths Lead Home... Choices Choices.

EqD is so overrated and pony-hipster that I can't find no words for it.
Aaaanyways..8,8k words, eh? That's not too much of a big deal. Unfortunately, school is starting for me again tomorrow (english lessons again, wee!), so I don't have plenty of time for reading now. (Stupid school-year does decide if I can get the needed references for a psychologic-study-place or not)
But I'll set it on the top of my to-read (not the read-later!) list and give a look to this 'experiment'. Sounds like fun to me
282434 Haha, well, in EqD's defence, I am pushing a lot buttons with this story! I never really expected it to get on (though it would have been nice if they had at least finished the chapter before judging, haha).
Anyway, the rest of it should be up in the next day or so. In other words, you might come back to it and find it's finished. No cliff-hangers that way! Haha.
