[Scene Writing] Lover's Leave (Big Mac X Marble Pie) · 10:08pm Nov 7th, 2015

Marble Pie woke up from her slumber, recovering from what seemed like the most sweetest of dreams ever. The last thing she could remember was the heavy musk of apples and sweat. As she rubbed the grogginess out of her eyes, she looked around her bedroom and noticed Big Mac adjusting his yoke. Suddenly all the buttery feelings inside her had melted.

“Big Mac?” she called out to him, albeit quietly.

The strong, red stallion turned his head to her with a sober expression. “Eeyup?”

“Are you leaving right now? And so soon?” With a heavy sigh, he nodded. “But why? Can’t you stay for a while?”

Big Mac shook his head. “Can’t do, Marble. You know what would happen if your family catches me here. They would ask questions, and answers would rustle up trouble between our households. I must leave before the sun even approaches the line.”

Marble’s mind raced to find reason. “But surely my parents won’t wake for another two hours! The crows aren’t even up yet.”

“Which is why now is the best time for me to leave. Better to leave when your family is slumbering deeply than them about to wake.”

Big Mac was about to reach for the doorknob before he felt two delicate hooves hug around his neck. “Please… don’t leave me.” He turned to meet Marble’s watery eyes. “Ever since we’ve met, I can’t bare to imagine a moment without you. You’ve made my life so much more better, so much more warm.” She sniffled a little. “You’re the light of my day, Big Mac. The sun! If you go, I have no morning.”

Big Mac lied down on the floor next to Marble and wiped her tears before they could fall. “And you’re the serene moon that makes my nights less lonely, but like the sun and moon, we can never be shown together lest we make our families worry.”

“But our eclipses together are so beautiful! A love so phenomenally strong, our families can never break our bond, won’t it?”

Big Mac had a small chuckle. “Since when did we start talking about celestial objects?”

Marble smiled along with him. “I don’t know, but what I do know is my love for you is true. Can’t you say the same for me?”

Big Mac nuzzled his neck against hers. “You know I’ll always love you, Marble. You’ve made my life lighter each time we spend time with one another.”

“Then must you go now?”

“I’m afraid so.”

Marble pulled back from Big Mac’s nuzzling. “Then promise me we’ll see each other again.”

“This won’t be the last, I swear.”

“And every moment we’re not together, I shall miss you even more so.”

“And next time we meet, I’ll be sure to sate all your desires.”

“And when you do, I’ll provide my all for you.”

“You already did.”

“Please… be back soon.”

“I shall.”

:raritycry:So beautiful!

This feels like a really good story premise. Oh how I wish you'd write this as a full fledged story... :fluttershysad:

3528930 Right now these are just writing practices Rated is helping me with. We have another story idea that I can write that is also a Shipping fic, a ship that is rarely done (or perhaps never done before). When I finish writing a first chapter for that one, I hope you'll be there to read it.

Then you shall expect me good sir! For the fact that you said "a ship that is rarely done" I shall eagarly await it. :ajsmug:
