New, unfinished story: "The Outlaw, The Star and the Big, Big Sky" · 8:37pm Aug 12th, 2012
Hey everyone, thanks for following me and favoriting and commenting on my stories, I really appreciate it!
I currently have a fourth story in the process of being written:
"The Outlaw, The Star and the Big, Big Sky"
It's a much larger project than any of my earlier stories, and unfortunately, has been put on hiatus. I began writing it almost exactly a year ago, and at almost 100 pages, it's got a good start. Unfortunately, life has just gotten in the way of the story, which could possibly be split into 3 separate books due to its potentially massive scope.
I do hope to someday return and hopefully complete this story. What I would like to know is if you would be interested in seeing it in its current form posted to the site. Bear in mind that, while edited, it is still in an early state and many changes could and probably will be made should I continue writing as future plot points and story developments reveal themselves. As such, should I resume writing, I would probably pull the current story so I can replace it with the updated one at a later time.
What you would see would serve essentially as a large preview to what the story could be, but I would need your help to finish it. Comments, advice and encouragement would be an enormous help.
Let me know what you think in the comments below, and thanks for reading.

Dude, go for it. Maybe post it in the new room? We'll make sure to give you feedback, advice and/or encouragement. Us writers have to stick together, so count me in as one of the people who want to see this.
yessssss
I would have to reconsider my approach to the story since that new map of Equestria was revealed. The version of the story that I post would be the original, with the desert regions being to the west of Equestria, unlike the new 'canon' map where the deserts are clearly to the south. It's an element I would need feedback on.
I for one would love to see this story continue. I liked the melding of fantasy and western, and I loved the allusions to character backstories (Braeburn's gun, that nasty sheriff that hassled him, etc.) I haven't seen the new map of Equestria yet, but I do think that re-locating things is something that could be worked around.
Hoping to see this continue, most definitely (going to pimp this story to my friends too; hopefully can get you lots of the feedback you want.)
