Yeah, so reception to the new fic was about how I expected.
Which is to say, no shoes thrown, but no one seems to care, either.
I realize I shot myself in the foot by putting Vinyl and Octavia in the same fic without making it a Vinyl and Octavia ship. I'm hoping that story wins out over ship preference in the end.
Pipe dreams, probably, but I'm continuing with it.
EDIT: I don't know if the downvotes are just people hating the fact that I'm not doing their ship, or people are just being trolls and not even bothering to read. But please: if you're just going to downvote it and move on, just move on.
I hope you do continue with it. Honestly, one of the things that's kept me from reading your stories is how many of them are incomplete or on hiatus. It makes me wary of getting attached. I hope I can give another one or two of them a shot in the near future, though.

This is a 22-ish chapter story; I have about 14 of them just stowed away unpublished here on Fimfic, and am releasing them on a weekly basis unless something weird comes up and they have to be late. I did that because I had a bunch of stories put on the backburner and I wanted to actually finish one. So you can get attached here.
