I'm going on a (probably) multi-week long hiatus. In this time I will be learning how to write better.
Currently my weakest points are, but not restricted to...
1: Emotions. I am a very logical person, and I have less than average skills when dealing with emotional issues and the progression of emotions with characters.
2: Planning. Every story I have ever written has been written out on the fly. I need to plan more for further progress.
3: Transitions. I make really poor transitions, and although cliffhangers at the end of a chapter are one thing, making them mid-story is usually not as good.
4: Increasing my vocabulary. I need to know more words for how people feel, how they say what they say, ect. I just need a larger vocabulary is all.
In this time I will still be active on the site. You can find me at the site's main chat room linked at the bottom of each page from time to time. I apologize for leaving my newest story unfinished, but after some detailed reviews on my last few stories, I know that I need to do much better.
I've also got some people reviewing my work, and hopefully they will get back to me soon. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
