So this was a fun episode. I have some things to say.
Spoilers. Of course. And still no pictures. That ish's hard, yo.
In no particular order,
Now we know for sure that Pinkie is at least a twin. Judging by them all being around the same size in the flashback last time, it's even more likely that they're quadruplets. What an interesting thing for Pinkie Pie to be and never bring up. Maybe it's just really common for ponies (or maybe just for earth ponies?).
Putting down money now that Holder's Boulder turns out to be an actual dragon egg in Season 6. People will be like, "But how did the PIE family not notice??" and the Pie family'll all look at Maud, and she'll be all, "I thought you knew." How did Granny know all that in the train, anyway?
Swiftly liking Maud more and more. I was ambivalent about her before, but her bonding with Apple Bloom cemented her (or limestoned her?) into my good book.
Speaking of Limestone, I love how she's like the Pie family's Applejack. I wish we could see more of her. Actually, I could easily see the episode going that way, making her into more of an antagonist for AJ and PP bringing the families together, and that might have been not as good. Hey, does her voice sound familiar to anyone else, or am I still woozy from waking up at 11:30? Checking... Huh. Ingrid Nilson did all three sisters. Woah, hold up. She's a YouTuber?? Hasbro's hiring from YouTube now?? That's so awesome!! How have I not heard of this before?? Not the sort of channel I would normally ever run into, but at least according to Teen Choice Awards she's a pretty big deal. Cool.
Marble Pie is great. Not enough of her either. They could totally abused her as the new Big Mac, and it would've worked. I really hope this isn't the last we see of the Pie sisters. Also, MarbleMac has surpassed FlutterMac.
Oh yeah, can't forget about CONFIRMING SHOW CHARACTERS' KNOWLEDGE OF PINKIE'S PHYSICS-BREAKING. AND ALSO THEIR QUICKLY SUPPRESSING THE MEMORIES IMMEDIATELY AFTER.

We finally get to see Granny Smith interacting with someone who isn't 60 years younger than her. And Lo, we learn who she really is:
Seriously, though, this is a pretty heavy theme for the episode to take. I mean, "I just want them to see how much better theirs could be!"? Clashing family traditions? If I didn't know better, I'd say the writers were OFFICIALLY SHIPPING APPLEPIE.
Limestone has no patience for Apple Bloom's shenanigans.
I think I know what's wrong with the CMC's new marks. They're the only Cutie Marks that I know of in the whole show that have outlines. The rest are all line-less, so these ones look like bigger images shrunk down instead of simple icons like they should. Do you think Hasbro would ever swallow their pride and fix them to match? Or maybe it's just that the marks didn't look good without outlines. Who knows?

This was a fun, headcanon-expanding episode for me. Seeing the clashing traditions of dirt ponies and rock ponies (as I've come to call them) was cool.
Are you sure? I thought that Maud was definitely older than the others. I know Pinkie always called her her big sister. The other three could definitely be triplets though.
Yes. I'm not entirely sure why though. My first thought was that she sounded like Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls, but I don't actually remember what she sounds like. I'll have to go back and check.
Well, they definitely seem to be shipping an Apple with a Pie. I don't think it's AJ and Pinkie though.

Considering Pinkie calls Marble "her baby sister, even though she's only a few minutes younger than me," and later that she's the youngest, it makes sense not only for both Limestone and Maud to be older, but in Pinkie Pie's book, be "older sisters" even if they're only a few minutes older as well.
