Mana swords were created by replicating Gigaliath technology and combining it with equestrian mana-stones; minerals with high concentration of magic. By the electrodes in the techonlogy it was abe to harness the magic into etheral blades capable of cutting through diamonds and bypassing shield-modules in armors. The variation of these are: Sabers, katanas and rapiers.
In sabers they are concentrated through stabilicers to form a blade. The color are pale blue with two feet in length. These blades are only given to high class military in the Draconic army. They are the lightest and easiest to handle in combat. The mana-stone is located in the handle and needs to be replaced for more effective use.
Katanas are faster and by concentrating it to the blade they are faster than Sabers but heavier. Unlike Rapier they have an overdrive-function that, while depleting the mana-stone, grants more powerful attacks and even grants the user a "cleaver" function; a function that sends a cresent blade a short distance. Only given to selected members.
Rapiers are only given to royalty and functions like Sabers but are more lighter than sabers and faster than katanas but at the cost of power. The mana is focused around the blade and a stab results in immediate bypass of shields and grants an instant death, no matter where on the torso area.
Rifles, while needing mana to function, shoots metallic slugs at a faster rate. While not able to cut through armor directly they shoot faster and more concentrated than other species' weapons. Sniper Rifles integrates mana to the suit's matrix to prevent recoil at the cost of more mana.
