Now that Shine is back up and running, my thoughts have once more turned to the future. More specifically, how I want to set up the Shineverse.
When I came up with the idea of the spreading magic and humans besides the Humane 6 "ponying up", I admit a took a lot of inspiration from the CW show "The Flash." In said show, a dark matter cloud released from a faulty particle accelerator (long story) spreads across the entire city giving superpowers to many of its residents (Except for the Big Bad, who had his powers beforehand).
Most of the episodes have the cast dealing with the current threat (think Monster of the Week) while at the same time, working towards figuring out the overarching threat (The aforementioned Big Bad). I felt that that sort of format would work well for the Shineverse as well. That way, I can work with both serious and more lighthearted aspects at the same time.
Speaking of which, once the Verse gets up and running, I figured I'd start with something a little more lighthearted than what we've already dealt with. After two serious villains in a role, you guys need a bit of a breather. Might even try a little comedy on the side.
Rose: Despite what he's said before, he doesn't hate humor. He just hates it when the humor is pointless. Give him a funny villain and then he has something to work with.
Speaking of which, the Verse also needs a Starter Villain. Again, I'd like to take a step back from the drama we've seen so far and start with someone a little lower on the threat meter.
I had my own idea at the ready, but I decided that, since this is a whole fresh start, I'd poll you guys instead.
Who do you think should be our first antagonist? You can select from any of the non-two-parter characters we've seen so far. It's my way of thanking you guys for staying with me for so long.
Trixie.
Have there been other non-two-parter villains?
Also, hey! You watch the Flash! So do I (sometimes)!

I thought Babs and Gilda weren't villains anymore.
The Mane-iac is a comic villain, she's not real. How would she get to the EQG verse?
Spoiled Rich is more a villain for DT but she was put in her place.
How would the windigos, or the Timberwolves, get to the EQG verse? Just hop through the portal?
Jet Set and Upper Crust were just snobs, not really villains.
Smooze just ate... Albeit he ate everything buuuuuut..
Dr. Caballeron is Daring Do's villain, would Daring join the cast of girls for a day?
Didn't- didn't the Diamond Dogs help Rarity in the short "Player Piano"? I thought they were cool with the girls. Ehh probably not!
How about a non villainous character who causes problems unintentionally? Somebody who doesn't think about the consequences of their actions or can't completely control their new powers. Someone who just doesn't know what went wrong.
