SPOILERS: General Reaction to the new MLP episode · 5:25pm Oct 10th, 2015
Well....that was all rather rushed and underwhelming.
Like, yay, musical episode???? Like....and?
And suddenly Diamond Tiara gets redeemed in the same episode where we find out about her verbally/emotionally abusive mother???? Like at least Gravity Falls had Pacifica get redeemed after we already introduced her mean parents and just generally did this same exact plotline in a more mature manner.
And like...they're cutie marks are helping OTHERS with THEIR cutie marks???? Okay?????
All in all rather underwhelming and rushed, tbh
As bad as the plot was I was actually more annoyed by all the singing. If they had cut back on that, they may have actually had the time to tell a damn story.

We had a grand total of 20 seconds of dialogue before singing took over...
3460697 Yeah. If they wanted to do a musical they should have done it so the songs were the dialogue. Honestly though the whole episode should have been more than one episode. Like 3 over the course of the season.
