Hum, actually thought the site rules covered groups. · 11:25am Oct 8th, 2015
But after some chatting with an actual admin, and not just some butthurt group owner, I found out that persecution and bullying is only disallowed outside of groups. Groups aren't being micromanaged, so a particular narrow minded group kicking me out of spite and personal bias while ignoring everyone else that broke the same rules I was breaking is allowed. Actually thought the whole "teachers son" stereotype wasn't encouraged, but welp, if you're a group owner, you're apparently allowed to practice as much favoritism and/or segregation as you please :P
Actually thought the sites rules weren't excluded for group, but welp. Only ones still included was for ex: racial discrimination or outright hate groups. Was kind of interesting to find out you could make a ex: Pinkie Pie fan group that openly mocks and kicks anyone that likes Pinkamina xP
Apparently the coarse of action I should have taken was to either block all of those involved, or ask for moderator status, so I could simply delete their posts. This site has weird ways to deal with issues tbh... very high on the "just be ignorant" part.
Still, I can definitely see the patterns now though. Granted, I should have been more clued in going with all the advice I got last time was "just report anyone that moderately annoys you, don't reply to them." Which tbh... I have to admit would prolly be for the best. I have to try out the whole "digging around issues" approach more. I mean, when I shovel someone to the face with cold, hard facts, and the best I get in reply is "No, YOUR MOM!" I can definitely see it as an improvement.
