It turns out that making writing a habit is hard. It turns out that I am easily distractible. And so it turns out that this story took six weeks instead of four to update, and I had to update on Sunday so I would have enough time to proof-read Chapter 5, and Chapter 6 still isn’t completely rough-drafted.
I believe the term for this is “Planning Fallacy.”
Oh well. This is why I wrote buffer chapters in the first place. Chapter 5 is out, and I’m now going to peg Chapter 6 as coming out in six more weeks. I will try very hard to actually meet that deadline this time.
I’m still looking for an editor, or really anyone who’ll yell at me at regular intervals to galvanize me into writing more. Such persons would be credited in the story. Also, I’m eager to hear feedback, constructive criticism, or ideas about my work. Comments, in short, are encouraged.
Now to get back to finishing Chapter 6, where we will finally get to see an actual fight.
