Story Blog: A Slave's Freedom #4 Holy Shit, Big Announcement! · 6:56pm Sep 30th, 2015
Due to my deal with being a discovery writer, I am prone to having very big ideas popping out of no where. My previous idea had only made this story be approximately thirty chapters. Well, now, I think I almost doubled it.
Crap.
Well, my new and last outline (in my head) will make this story possibly be around the range of forty-five to sixty chapters.
Now you know how I write. The longest chapter in A Slave's Freedom so far is a little over three thousand words. I don't know if I'm going to be going over that (it's possible), but we'll see how this pans out. Instead of A Long Road Home ending in six chapters, we now have approximately eleven chapters total in that section alone (maybe even more).
Yay for more reading (for you guys) and writing (for me)!
I hope this is good news so that you know that this story is going to be BIG. If this goes as planned, this will be one of my longest stories on the site. I hope it doesn't take too long to write it, but I hope that you will all stick for the long run. If so, that'll be awesome. ^_^

No, I'm not planning for it to be that long. Maybe in the range of 100-200k words total but with extremely manageable word counts (40,000 words for one chapter is a bit much...).
3432404 I actually avoid stories with too much chapters. If I ever write a story, it would have 20 chapters at most.

That was my outline at first, to be honest. But then I started to like the concept more and more to the point that it's expanded to this awesome monstrosity.
