    Return

Hey guys, it's been a while. I'll keep a long and uninteresting story short. I needed a break, not really from writing, but from life in general. Writing was just one of the many things that had taken a seat during my reprieve. However, things have been getting better over the past two months and I think the time I've taken to myself has been more than long enough. I understand if some of you may

    Update

I didn't want to make a new blog post ever again, seeing as it was at 117 blog posts :P Anyways, I have an update ready to go for chapter three of the Guardian rewrite. I also wanted to mention that I have taken the chapter title from chapter two and am giving it to chapter three instead, as chapter three did not get as far as I intended.

    College

Hey guys and gals! Requiem here. I just spent my first night here at the University of North Dakota. The transition is going well, my roommate and I get along, and my schedule looks ok. The campus is pretty and there's lots to do, especially shopping, in Grand Forks. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the winter though. Snow is something I'm used to as a Minnesotan, but the legendary wind

As much as I hate something like this, I'm a bit disappointed by this trailer. The length and epic action packed trailer of Osiris gave me higher expectations for this one. True, there is more of a somber scene to probably show that even Spartan IIs aren't completely invincible to human nature. So again, there are pros and cons for me here. While the airlock scene was funny to me, I just feel like they could have added a bit more action or maybe show a bigger threat running at them before cutting.

Also, as I'm a bit behind on news and don't pay too great of attention to them in the first place, I just heard that Halo 5 will not have splitscreen. Wtf? Uh, I really think that's a mistake. Halo grew up with friends running to each others houses, playing splitscreen and having epic LAN parties XD I think that they are removing a key element to Halo's popularity. I for one am disappointed by this. How am I supposed to play with friends who don't have gold, myself included?

Oh well, hopefully the story line and different game play is worth it. I'm all for progress, but sometimes keeping the tried and true is equally important. Well, let me know what you guys think.

With regards, Req~

Dang, the Chief is looking rough.

I absolutely love the contrast between the opening cinematic's.

With Osiris. The new spartans in town who are not afraid to show their tech.
And Blue Team. War bread super soldiers who work together like an oiled machine.

I don't really know what to think about the no split-screen. I mean. Halo 5 is simply not able to run to its fullest if split-screen was implemented. And with the "supposedly" Seamless online co-op being implemented, And with most halo 5 fans already in possession of an Xbone. I don't think it should be such an issue.

I can't help but notice that the graphics look like there from halo 3.

3416941 XD Lol, you made me laugh. No offense. But did you see the glass breaking, magnetic pulse thingy from their boots, and the energy swords? Did not in any way remind me of Halo 3 :/

But all is to their own aye?
3416215 true that
3416319 huh, I didn't look at it like that. Fair enough. I can see where you're coming from :) Also, I don't have gold, nor do I care for it. I'm not a big online multiplayer kinda guy. If I want to play with random strangers (who spit filth most of the time lol) I'll go play on my PC. That way there are literally dozens of games I can burn through before getting too frustrated. With that said, I enjoy having friends over and having splitscreen mayhem on the biggest TV available in the house at 3 in the morning lol. More human, cause then I can chuck stuff at them XD Jk, but you know what I mean.
