Guilty Pleasures · 6:09pm Sep 18th, 2015
Everyone has them and so I have often thought what makes it guilty, if it is pleasurable then why feel guilty at all regardless of what those around you think. Wanting to know exactly what makes something a guilty pleasure I looked it up and according to the dictionary it is, "something, such as a movie, television program, or piece of music, that one enjoys despite feeling that it is not generally held in high regard." But then I wondered about the people that say they don't care what others think about them, and when I asked some of them if they had a guilty pleasure their responses where yes; so does that mean they do care what others think about them based on what they like?
So today I ask what is your guilty pleasure and does it really make you feel guilty for it, I know my guilty pleasures have always been (and this is in the order I feel it should be in) From Dusk Till Dawn by Quentin Tarantino, nearly all of the music done by Carlos Santana as well as a lot of the music that this fandom has produced since season one, and a love for games with a great story line and a massive world to explore and do just about what ever I like. Now do I feel guilty for these things, not really, because these are my tastes and no one else why should I feel guilty for something I enjoy. So if you feel like continuing this feel free to share your thoughts. And don't worry if you don't have anything to share simply talking with those who do is a good start.
