    Reaction Story Ideas

Hello everybronie, it is I, Posh, actor, writer, philosopher, creator of the hit series “Big Octopi in Little Delphi,” inventor, writer, occasional male escort, deposed vice-regent of Luxembourg, writer, actor, critic, writer, and overall tall drink of water. I’m here today to discuss a new trend I’ve seen in the MLP fan fiction community: Reaction stories.

    What is a reaction story?

    Chapter Eight is Live

The real chapter eight. What was originally labeled as chapter eight, “Pasta al Forno,” was an April Fool’s joke that sprang from a ficlet Dubs wrote me for Jesus Day. The chapter titles and order have been rearranged to reflect this.

The Pros and Cons of Giving a Damn

"I'm not looking for pity. I'm trying to make a point. Girls like us can't rely on anyone, can't get attached to anyone. You just set yourself up to get hurt down the line when they're gone.

"’Cuz they're always gone, in the end."

    Donations Page: For Billy Kametz

    Billy Kametz has passed away.

For those of you who don’t know who that is, he is Ferdinand von Aegir. For those of you who don’t know who that is, first of all, shame on you. Second, he was also someone named Jotaro. In English.

Or Josuke. I don’t watch that show. He was someone named Jojo; I don’t know which one.

Posh's Story Reviews: Folio The Second - Part Two - A Mire From Which There Can Be No Exodus

Awoooo, awaaaaa, amooooooooo. I’ve finished communing with the Elder Spirits, those phantom deities which lend me their neurons to write these glorious literary critiques. They’ve guided me to two more stories, to add onto my previous blog. In exchange, they are slowly siphoning my lymphatic fluids for their own purposes (I think they carbonate it and use it as a mixer in cocktails).

They won't rest until I'm driven MAD · 7:58am Aug 4th, 2012

I saw that official map of Equestria that was featured on EQD. I am now convinced that Lauren Faust created My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as part of a campaign to drive me insane by decanonizing as much of my fanfic as possible. Today, it's geography. Tomorrow? Well, who knows?

But in all seriousness, my story is about as far from canon as anyone could possibly get. I forfeited any right to complain the moment Solid Snake set foot in Equestria. Still, I find myself debating whether or not to alter my game plan to better suit the canon map.

I don't know if I will, though. I said this before, but if I changed everything about my story based on what new revelations came to light, then Pony Gear Solid would be seven words long. It'd be one sentence, and it would read "I never went to Equestria. -Solid Snake"

(Okay, that's one sentence and a signature, but you know what I mean.)

Meh. That sentence is already invalidated since only the parts of the fic from Snake's perspective are his memoirs. You are Twilight level OCD about making this fic as canon-compliant as possible.

Saw the map, I couldn't even find like Trottingham or Hoofington. But yeah, all the fic writers are now like "oh no dat canon map screw me over noooooo"

269430 I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering where the hell Trottingham was. :unsuresweetie:

Looking again at the map, it's basically a ponified North America, which I don't think is canon. I mean you got Los Pegasus by LA, a Niagara falls counterpart, all the ponified East Coast cities are on the East Coast, Appleoosa is out West-ish, The Frozen North is Canada, Dodge City is like St. Louis or whatever, San Palomino is that southwest desert, the list goes on.

269386 I can't decide if that's a fault or virtue. I want to stick to the show, but creative license does have a place. At the same time, I don't want to depart from the show too drastically

.269445 Dodge is a city?!
