    Silver Scepter Saves the Story

Given that Starswirl's Wish is a spiritual successor to A Noise in the Closet, I must say the fact that a three year buffer exists in both circumstances can't be purely coincidence. And that's because it's not. The majority of this absence is self-inflicted, but I must say am I happy to be back.

    Hello, It's Been Awhile

I am a little surprised I'm here actually. Time has sure treated me differently these last couple years...but I suppose what is more important to y'all is an update.

To the two people it concerns

I will be going against a thing I said in the past. I will be returning to Fanfiction.Net with my pony stories. It feels wrong to only be uploading in one location, so now both sites will be getting the content and you can choose your preferred site to see it on. (Pls still like and fav in both places tho, my ego needs it)

Bish, I did exactly what I wanted to.

So, for those that have been tagging along with these pointless blogs, you'd know that in the last one - around four weeks ago - I stated that I was really bad at using filler material and just jumping straight into the main plot point.

    The Writer's Weakness

So as is with everything that everyone does, it is hard to do it flawlessly without practice. There will always be a small mistake that appears meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but may be of monumental proportions to the one doing the mistake.

Okay, so for those of you that aren't in the loop, before I came here to FimFiction, I had a big story over on FanFiction that garnered me decent attention. That story, in my opinion at least, was total shite. As such, I promised everyone over there that I would redo it to make it better - and to actually finish it.

Well, those people are in luck. The first stage of development just went through, so I have all the primary and secondary characters figured out as well as all the major locations. We got a big scene this time, ranging from the cold north of Montana to the Canadian border of Maine and all the way back to the humidity of Texas. The best part of this is that every city I'm using is a real location, though some of the aspects I use, may not be.

Our cast of characters is also going to be alot more diverse as well, though I'm going to save the details about that. Just hear me out when I say these characters are some of my favorite to date.

I'd give it two weeks before this story's first chapter goes live. In the mean time, why not have a look at the story's stupid older brother, here.

Shhh We might have a return character and location. I wonder which ones they are...
