How is Everyone and the Fandom Doing? (Yes I am not dead! :D)

Been a while! How have you all been?

I have been around but not as busy with my own writing as I'd like, as you can see, due to me being a lazy slacker and rarely finding the time for it. On the bright side I have been very busy lately with joint projects with friends which is a wonderful delight to me, the writing is happening even when it is not!

Electricity in Equestria · 4:41am Sep 10th, 2015

It's there. Believe me, like a third world nation, they have tech of almost 21st century level in many places of Equestria distributed sporadically and seemingly at random, side by side with elements of the past, or what we would consider "the past."

Now to the point, I have a theory - well, two theories rather that coexist with one another - as to why we do not see power lines and the like throughout Equestria. I shall let pictures do the initial introduction to them! :raritywink:

The first theory is this, derived from statements made by Lauren Faust a long time ago. Basically, lots of things are magic powered, and it functions as a substitute for electricity where electricity would otherwise be difficult to generate and distribute for one reason or another.

The second theory is that plants like the Hoofer Damn shown above use magic to wirelessly transmit the electricity generated by the facility over a given radius of so many miles/kilometres, using some type of magictech or engineering that would make Tesla himself blush.

Hmm, sounds reasonable :rainbowhuh: I also remember a video where it was suggested that jars containing twittermites could be used as batteries

3382055 Yush, good sir! Very much so, they could.

I honestly always went with the magic replaces electricity theory.

Also, sense they have some form of 21st century tech, I hope they don't have some sort of magic nuke, those things cause nothing but trouble:facehoof:
