A New Story? · 6:55am Aug 29th, 2015
I know full well that I have too many uncompleted stories already. 2POTN has been my main focus along with Writer's Block as I find the time and motivation to continue the rewrite. But I simply could not stop myself from toying around with a new story idea that recently came to me. The difference with this one and my other stories is that it is purposefully goofy and meant to be fun. Honestly, I'm really excited at the idea of writing it. However, I don't want it to sacrifice time that I need to spend finishing my main stories, and I don't want to officially post it until a substantial amount has been written. I've found if I post the first chapter or two of a story I'm tinkering with that won't be my main project, I tend to stop writing about it due to pressure of needing to put chapters out because of the small amount of attention it receives. So most likely I won't release this one on Fimfiction until a good chunk has been written, and if things go as I currently planning for it, it could potentially be equal or longer than the finished version of 2POTN. As comedic as I want this to be, I want each chapter to filled with good content, and most likely contain a story within each one as I think an episodic method of story telling would be best. Each chapter an episode like with a tv series.
So why am I posting this blog? Because I really want to know if it's a story people would like. If you are interested, please checkout the GDOC link below and give the prologue a read. It is 4500ish words, and pretty much in raw form with little edits. The starting circumstances for the story are very forced so I can begin the story where I want it to, of which I will continue with more organic plots than something that could be called fanservicing. Though, there might be a fanservice chapter now and then for comedy sakes. Oh, by the way, this story is a crossover, and it will be very apparent very quickly as to which crossover it is.
I practically only read stuff with Twi as main character, i've found i stop being interested otherwise, but there are of course a few exceptions - so i can't say for sure if i would read it, and i'm too lazy to check the prologue myself.
I'm gonna say: write whatever you feel like writing, and i'm sure people will read it, it's always a bit of a hit or miss on reader amount though, unless you have something like 1k followers.
