So my father recently passed away. It's... hard to handle, suffice to say. I've taken some time to grieve, and reality knows I'll be doing more in the future, I can't help but want to persue this desire of creation my father instilled within me during childhood. That includes fanfiction as a story is a story. With that personal bombshell out of the way, I want to thank every patient reader as I deal with life's bullshit. I have most of the key points of DragonFeather already mapped out including its ending, leaving only improvisitional muse whims to sway the story as I weedle my way to the key points. Recently I just resolved a minor world building plot point that was contentiously pestering my thoughts for the second to next chapter. With that said, I will try to make this year more productive storywise, as I not only enjoy making something people enjoy but also because I want to persue this creative spirit with the limited time left I have on this Earth, because reality knows us Humans only have but a speck in the grand scheme of things.
As for the next chapter, I have part beginning written as of now, but I know the general structure of the rest of the chapter I want to write out. Spoilers, we visit the Crystal Kingdom for a moment before viewing a race, and then, the call to adventure. Also, the chapter after the next will have a character I've been a little excited to write for. And while I plan for her to be in the third book at least, I'm leaving the muses whims to decide her fate after we reach that point. For the third book, and especially the fourth, I'm waiting to see how events play out as I generally like to play it chapter by chapter. But as for DragonFeather, Soarin and the Hunters were intially planned for the third book, but felt fitting in retrospect to have their appearance now, so I'm looking forward to touching a bit on their world building in the upcoming chapter. As for the upcoming mysterious character, you already know her. Let's hope you've also read her origin in the comic as well, as I'm making it canon :p
