When you still feel like there is something missing to tie the story's elements together and suddenly the characters you originally planned to work on in the third book pop into your mind.
Guess what? I got a job! And I feel much better for it after 5 months of searching for one upon graduating college while watching my rent money dry up. And I feel the muse's tickle coming. As for DragonFeather, this is the second time I've paused it to reconsider major elements happening by the addition of characters. The first one was the addition of a character that I had in no way ever thought would enter this fanfic series, but quickly became a favorite addition in my mind the more I thought about them and their interaction with this story. Now I've decided to add two more characters I meant to save for the third book, but I feel they would be better served if I began them in DragonFeather. (hint: these two stallions have already appeared in 2PotN) I apologize for how long updating is taking, but I felt there were gaps in future parts of the story that I wasn't sure how to fill, and I wanted to get at least an idea of how to approach them before writing myself into a wall or pit. I feel as though I can write forward with less worry about how things may develop as there is just enough spice to keep it going now.
Hope to have an update out soon. It already has 3k words so only few thousand left before I call it good.
I prefer quality over quantity anyways, take your time.
