    Love is...

When you're in a lot of physical pain, but the thought of that person helps you think straight.

    Damn. Beautiful

'Waiting is the harder option, but the thought of her smile makes me want to go through anything just to eventually be with her.'

I love how much he loves her.

A dude I know has to wait for his girlfriend and I asked him how he does it, how he copes with waiting.
    He said:
Each day I'm one step closer. That's what keeps me going.

    Awww.

My dream may seem far fetched.

But I don't care, I don't care that others doubt me. I'm not gonna sit and complain that it's unachievable. I'm doing my best and keeping all the hope in the world that one day the dream will come true.
If I fail, I know I tried. If I get it, I know I earned it.

I have a waifu.

:rainbowlaugh:
Why do people have waifus? :rainbowderp:
Note: My waifu isn't from MLP. My waifu's Wendy from Gravity Falls. Sowwy Dipper.

just depends. some do it for fun, but some can get out of control.

Like the one in the Sunset Shimmer group. :facehoof:

Pacifica has him covered like a first baseman during the world series

3345326 that and people who claim Twilight is their waifu. even the Luna fans aren't as bad. Heck, OTD, Dusk Chaser, and I are more joking than being serious.

People have waifus because.... anime?:rainbowderp:

People have waifus because of wish-fufillment fantasies, and it can really say a lot about what certain people find attractive. Almost everyone wants to be loved, and sometimes it's just easier to choose a perfect fictional character when real life relationships are too hard (or your standards are too high for real people). Sometimes "waifuism" is the cause of many people setting their standards too high and having unrealistic expectations for a romantic partner.

Let's look at Wendy. She's a tomboy, but she's still attractive and doesn't seem to put walls around her heart. A picture of traditional feminine beauty with a sassy, tough girl edge. She can fight for herself, but she'll still be kind enough to let you in and maybe even protect her from time to time. Due to the male instinct to protect, a lot of older guys will be magnetized to the timid characters like Fluttershy, or characters with a lot of inner turmoil like Luna. You, since you're younger, probably fantasize about girls who would be fun to be around like Wendy. Girls who can take you for a ride and are most likely too old to legally kiss you. :moustache:

It works a little differently for women, but the concept is still the same with wish-fufillment fantasies. Myself and a lot of other girls are drawn to angsty, even overtly villainous characters such as Loki because women are nurturing by nature. We subconsciously think, "well, he may be evil now, but he's just hurt inside. If I show him love, maybe I can change him!" Or when we see a guy in battle, no matter what side he's fighting for, we might imagine said character would be able to fight for us. 'Cause girls love projects. Obviously I'm overgeneralizing here, but it's mostly true.

I always notice that you lecture me like I'm younger than you. :rainbowlaugh:
That was nice to read though.

3345354 Have you seen the newest Gravity Falls episode yet? It just aired today !

Wouldn't dipper be a husband'o?

3345354 :rainbowwild: It's not just you, man. It's everyone. I am a condescending Connie.

Everyone else appears to have given a smart and educated answer to this question. So I'll be the stupid one.
