So School's Gonna Start Soon. . . · 3:02am Aug 10th, 2015
School.
That's what it says in the title.
In fact, school is starting for me in only about a week or so. You know what this means? Yes, more homework and less time on Fimfiction. It doesn't sound that bad, doesn't it?
Well, here's the bad news: it does. Unfortunately, with school starting soon, I have been forced, against my will, to spend a LOT less time on Fimfiction, and a LOT more time on school. The worst part is that I have been prohibited from writing until I get my first report card back. . . and that's like three months away. And even worse, I am allowed to go back to writing on Fimfiction IF and ONLY IF I get all 'A's on my report card.
So, in short, I am not allowed to write for three months, and maybe even more after that. Terrible, right? Yeah, it is. Very terrible.
I know you guys are probably going to kill me for saying this, but tLoSS might, and most likely will be going on hiatus after I get all my prewritten chapters published. I'm planning on publishing one today, and the next one next week, and maybe one more after that. Then, it'll have to be some time before I can come back on here and say hi again.
Just to clear up any confusion, this ISN'T writer's block. I have the ideas in my head, but I just don't have the TIME to put it down and publish it.
And guys, continue to enjoy other stories like PtH - which I'll miss a lot of - and don't get the dragged down by the fact that I won't be posting any new chapters after the prewritten ones are out. Now that I've finally ran out of things to say, bye until months later.
I think we all understand, Shadow. Regardless, I hope you do well in your studies, and if you ever want to talk shop again I am only a PM away!
That's unfortunate. I hope you do alright. I'd say your parents are being a bit pushy, but they just want a good future for you. Though it shouldn't come at the price of your freedoms. They should try letting you grow a bit on your own and trusting you to have responsibility. If you aren't allowed to learn it, then how could they expect you to live on your own someday? Just my opinion.

I'm so glad you understand, and although I will have much less time on here, I will try to PM you from time to time.

I totally agree with you there. I've been trying to tell them the same thing, but I guess the next opportunity to prove myself responsible is during these three months. *sigh*

Well, they'll realize it one day. They can't hold your hand forever. But that's a hard part about parenting. It's difficult to let go.
3309149
Yup, and seeing how my parents are, it's going to be especially hard for them. Well, I'd better start proving myself now, or I probably won't be allowed to write for years. *shudder*

Ah, I'm sure things'll be fine. Besides, if you have access to a computer, you can do it anyway. That's what a public library's for after all. You can use computers there to do your writing. I used a public library a lot last year to do editing for PTH.

I hope things will turn out fine. Although the last time I went to a public library, my friends came along, and we almost got kicked out for causing too much commotion, and now I have to be careful to make sure they don't recognize me, but I'll keep that in mind.

Well, it is still a library. And if you're a closet brony, then don't go with your friends to write But seriously, if you're passionate about something, don't let people stop you. You know, as long as it's perfectly legal.

It's not like anybody could stop me from writing anyway, since I have too many stories in my mind, just not the time to write them down. In this case, it's a battle with me against time management. But thanks for the advice!

No problem. Keep on keeping on.

Okay
Again good luck on your studies!
