The story is pretty much done. 30,000 words. Four drafts, a complete rewrite, and a year of work. I'm looking for talented proofreaders to take a look at it before I give it the green light. If you have a good eye for prose and storytelling, or know someone who does, I could really use the help, even if it's just to take a look at the first chapter. As usual, I'm anxious about the story not being as good as it could be shortly before its completion. I hope you guys will like this one. I put a lot of heart into it. Hopefully I'll have it published very soon.
Considering it's you, there's very little that might disappoint me. Unfortunately, I'm no good at proofreading, and I don't really know someone who would be able to do it for you. I am looking forward to it, though!

Well, just a general reaction could help me. You do seem to be fairly well read, so I'm sure you could provide a few pointers on parts that aren't working as well as they should. Would you be interested in taking a look?
