Been thinking of a new story idea, though it's not one I can even begin to think to about starting anytime soon as I still have Taxonomy to finish. If any of you have seen the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the protagonist decides to erase his ex girlfriend from his memories after finding out she has done the same to hers. As he goes through his memories in reverse in a dream-like setting, he remembers why he loves her.
Now, this would be a crossover, but not word for word as there are obvious differences here: I don't think Fluttershy would be petty or impulsive enough to try and wipe her memory of Discord. Discord, on the other hand-- I can see him doing it in a moment of pain or when he's throwing a tantrum.
Also, Discord is far more like Clementine than Joel, as he's the impulsive, manic one.
Obviously wiping Fluttershy from his mind systematically would not be a good thing for Discord, as she's the reason his arse isn't still encased in stone, so it would give me ample opportunity to write both comedy and torture Potato-Boy.
Actually the "enjoy it" line from the last chapter of Taxonomy was inspired by watching this scene again:
So, would anyone be interested in reading a story like this? Bearing in mind it might be a while before I can write it.
This is one of the most beautiful/saddest scenes in the film. I would gladly read a fluttercord/sunshine crossover.

That and the bit where his friends are driving him home:
"We saw you talking to someone. She was pretty."
"Yeah who was that, man?"
"She...she was just a girl."
I can't watch that film very often because it just destroys me with feels--those two scenes in particular.
