Why no like? · 9:22am Jul 29th, 2015
I had a story posted on this site less than twenty four hours ago. It was a story with a complex theme. Writing it was not easy. When I looked at the site in the morning, I saw that fourteen people had viewed it, and two had not liked it. The people who pushed the down like button did not bother to comment on why the felt my story was not good. Was it the plot? Was it the dry dialogue that has offended others? Was it the prose in general?
I would like to know these things.
I'll answer your question with a plain and simple quote from your last blog post:
In the Immortal words of dolan duck, "qvestion wuz sefl ansewred."
You see, when you cut your drugs with low quality ingredients, it just doesn't give you the same high.
Beyond that, if I were to look past the obvious problems, the only issue I can really see is that you're shipping the Smooze with Maud. This isn't exactly a high profile ship. It's naturally going to be hard to get people interested in it.
No offense, but if you really want eyes on your story, stick to an idea that will appeal to many people, and don't sacrifice quality for speed.
3280286 I do have an Applejack story in mind that many would be interested in reading.
Thanks for the advice.

If you need someone to do a once-over on your future stories and they aren't gore/dark/troll fics, feel free to put them in a gdoc and send me a link and I'll be happy to offer suggestions.
Good luck in the future!
