Obsevations about the show

I am going to re-watch the entire show.

I will be making general notes and observations, aw sell as paying close attention to:

* Technologies evidenced
* Words and phrasing used
* Mannerisms
* BG ponies
* BG events
* Luna's speech patterns

This will be my 4th time through the show, but the first time of really studying it.

I have a theory that the ponies have no concept of induced magnetism. If it holds true, it would explain the lack of motors, as well as a few other things I thought I observed.

I am studying the words and phrasing used, because of the apparent inconstancy in speech. For example, in The Perfect Stallion, Scootaloo says the word 'girlfriend'. The mane six occasionally refer to each other as girls. Theoretically, this means that they have a concept f the terms boy/girl, and use them canonically.

I would like to make a study of what is canonically considered normal behavior, and what is reacted to as abnormal behavior in the show.

I am studying Luna's speech patterns, because a friend pointed out that her speech has normalized, a fact that in my first three runs, I completely missed.

I am also going to note my general musings on the show.

Can any of you think of anything else I might want to pay special attention to?
