"Luna's Center" Will update tomorrow · 4:50pm Jul 20th, 2015
I'm currently researching different preschool programs so I can try and get an accurate feel of what sorts of activities I might be able to include in the story for comedic effect, the new chapter is in production
Ooh, how about finger painting? Wait...
Vivian G Paley's "Wally's Stories" would be a good way to get a feel for how children think at that age. And, "32 third graders and one class bunny," pretty much covers the teacher's list of activities.
The author of 32TGAOCB even goes over five different teaching styles and even reveals the secrets behind the legendary "permanent record," which follows students around throughout their academic carer. Which is ironic, because I understand my permanent record has a Clover and a Unico sticker on it.
I'm sure Luna would benefit from knowing Montessori, Adlarian, and Transactional Analysis psychology. The therapeutic techniques of Richard Gardner include talking, feeling, doing games.
However, books on play therapy are always full of "case studies" you could use. In fact, 'healing the hurt child,' which is by no means an easy read for a college graduate with a bachelor's degree, has a story about a child afraid of "bad Ducks" in the ventilation shafts because he overheard a repairman or janitor talking about bad ducts and connected the wrong dots.
P.S. would you be interested in giving me an opinion about my fanficiton? So far, as I know, only 11 people have looked at it.

I still don't know how to attract readers, get proof readers, or post it 'here' just yet, but I would love to borrow the concept of Luna's learning center.
