I'd have to take a look at his fiction before saying anything definite. From the tropes page it looks respectable, at least idea wise it's something that I haven't heard used in poni fiction.
Personally I've never read story out loud before, but hey. There's no reward without some kinda risk. I'm just curious, is he looking for a dramatic reading or just ' first experience ' read (cause I haven't a better term at the moment for it).
