Trip to the Pool · 1:17am Jul 10th, 2015
So for our last day with Alyssa we went out to the pool that she runs. I know, we spent our special time at her workplace of all things. However, the pool was refreshing compared to the golfing trip yesterday. I finally got to show my stuff (brag about how much better I am in the water) to Naomi again, since she got to show her skills yesterday. One of the best parts was that I got to be reunited with many of my guy friends that I worked with just two years ago when I was a lifeguard. Naomi and Alyssa spent the day on the poolside chatting and sunbathing, whilst the guys and me did some nostalgic water polo. The best quote I heard today was from one of my body builder friends, “You're both taken?!” Needless to say I told them that I didn’t come back looking for romance, but they all took it well. I missed my pool friends, they're great people. But we did have to say our goodbyes, although not for long, as Alyssa has officially hired me back! I’ll be starting lifeguard work within the week, and I’m looking forward to it.
