    Holiday Bundle 2023 Playlist!

Happy holidays, everybody! I'm sorry I'm late for sharing this playlist of 12 videos that I've been working on since this fall! Although I did post them on YouTube for Christmas, I shared it only on X that day and not anywhere else. Shame on me.:facehoof: It includes videos centered around The Bad Guys, Kung Fu Panda, The Owl House, Netflix's The Monkey King, and more! I'm very

    #RewriteWish Fan Project

So, quite unexpectedly, I've launched a fan project to basically make a different version of Disney's latest film Wish. I haven't seen the film yet, but from what I gathered from the online reviews, it sounded very generic, two-toned, and pretty dissatisfying. When I discovered the concepts and ideas that were deleted from the movie, I wrote my own version of the story. Not knowing how to

    Survey for Definitive Disney Ranking

Hi! I wanted to share this survey with you all. In it, participants can rate the 60 Disney animated features by using the star system. The responses will help me compile a DEFINITIVE ranking of the films in the Disney Animated Canon. I created the survey because a lot of people have various films listed as their number one and I want to be as objective as I can. You can use the first link below

Blast from the Past! My Review of "Amending Fences" · 8:05pm Jul 6th, 2015

Spoiler Alert! Do not continue on unless you’ve seen the episode/s! If you wish to continue, read at your own risk. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Hey, all! Welcome to another review of “My Little Pony”! In this review, I will cover "Amending Fences". As I have discussed before, I will lay out the standards of my reviews. If you just want to skip to the break below, feel free by all means. Here are my standards:
• How in-depth I will go into the episode will vary on the impression it made.
• I may refer to stuff almost related to the show. It depends on what I’m reminded of in the episode.
• Some of the references may be unknown to you guys, so I apologize in advance if anything confuses you. I will do my best to clarify what I mean.
• I will list the pros and cons of each episode and then sum it up.
• The last thing I will do is give the episode one or a mix of the following:
o A letter grade
o A percentage
o A number on a scale of one to ten
• I may skip over select episodes due to a low impression or personal reasons. My apologies in advance to anyone I might offend by skipping over an episode they like.
Please keep this in mind so I don’t have to worry about boring you.
Here’s my review of "Amending Fences"!

KRACKA-THOOOM!!!
*coughs twice* Whoever the genius was for putting leftover fireworks on my blog has got another thing coming! Sorry about that, everypony. When I said “Blast from the Past”, I didn’t actually intend for fireworks to go blazing off! I bet this didn’t happen to Lemon Hearts when she said it. By the way, I think she stole that line from me because I was planning to use it for my review title. However, this may be just pure coincidence.
Apparently, my review title is not the only thing parallel to the episode. Like Twilight, I moved away from my friends before eventually coming back to them. When I moved back to where my friends were, they were as kind to me as the trio were to Twilight. Though some of them had more friends, they didn’t forget about me. However, only one of Twilight’s friends (or should I say “acquaintances”) didn’t welcome her back with open hooves.
In enters Moon Dancer, only mentioned by name in the series premiere. When we last heard about her, she was throwing a party just as Twilight was leaving. Until now, I had always assumed that Moon Dancer was a social butterfly. However, she turns out to be the opposite. I guess one could say that who she was when we first saw her would’ve been Twilight had she not discovered the prophecy that led her to Ponyville. To me, she’s not just Twilight’s alternate self, but also my reflection.
Yep, you are reading the words of a girl who was a high school recluse and pretty much separated herself from her peers. Though I wasn’t studying as much as Moon Dancer was, I was shy and kept to myself most of the time. I had-and still have-my issues to deal with, one of them being OCD. I’m not usually one to follow the crowd under most circumstances, but I still have good friends who keep in fair contact with me. In a way, I kind of see myself as Moon Dancer, though I probably wouldn’t have my bangs up in a Pebbles hairstyle.
Fun Fact: I have some baby pictures of me sporting that hairstyle, but I can say that I wasn’t too pleased about it in the photos.
I have to point out that Moon Dancer is the second pony with eyebrows after Tree Hugger. What, is this becoming a trend now? It is a nice change of pace, but I’m neutral about it. The third pony to have eyebrows was Moon Dancer’s sister, who reminded me of my own sister. Speaking of my sister, she wanted me to bring up something that will interest you all. :ajsmug:
We missed it the first time, but after seeing some post-episode analyses, we both realized that somepony familiar was at the café. Who else than (DUN! DUN! DUN!) Starlight Glimmer herself? Yeah, we see your mane and horn sticking out, Starlight! Give it up!
Huh…What do you know? She actually ran off. Hmm, must have a diabolical scheme in the works. My sister suggested that Starlight may be “stalking the Mane Six, watching them and planning her next move” (her exact words). Anyway, that cameo of Starlight was a blink-and-you-miss-it moment kind of like when Octavia Melody and DJ PON-3 jumped over that shark plushie. My sister and I found out about it via Youtube comments (my sister) and the episode follow-up on Equestria Daily (me).
Moon Dancer’s breakdown was certainly worth it. Though she has only appeared in one episode so far, I think it’s fair to say that she qualifies as a strong being. After all, she might have suppressed her emotions for like, what, since Twilight left? That’s a pretty long time, if you ask me. In that scene, she reminds me of Riley Anderson, who kept repressing her emotions until she confessed about missing Minnesota. When both of them let down their guard, they allowed themselves to feel happy again. After all, one cannot feel joy unless one feels sadness.
I liked that we got to explore more of Canterlot. I think it fits well with the theme of exploration this season. I’m glad we got to see more of Twilight’s homes, both old and new. We also got to see the outside of Donut Joe’s shop and the Canterlot library (a bit dim, I must admit). It was interesting to see Twilight’s old science lab. I can definitely see Lemon Hearts’ head being stuck in a beaker circulating as a meme.
I have one more thing to say before I list the pros and cons. After Twilight crash-lands into Minuette, Pinkie uses her tail as a propeller. I was surprised to see this because I’m planning to have Pinkie do this action in a future fanfiction. One good thing came out of this: it’s canon now.
Pros: Yes! Another wall collapsed by the Eureka release! The episode had its worthy moments, especially those that had rung true with me. It’s great to have continuity going. We get to explore more environments, which is a big plus for me considering how I’ve always loved to explore since I was young (perhaps even before I was born). Once again, we have the PYUP principle, considering Starlight Glimmer’s cameo.
Cons: There are not too many, thankfully. I think the only thing I can say in this area is that the episode seems average. My sister suggests that the episode should’ve aired earlier.
In Summary: You know what? Maybe I should stop pointing out how the strong are breaking this season. It seems fairly obvious, if you ask me. I’m just going to keep a tally from now on, one for each episode. I’ll only say this: if Luna cries in the next episode, then Discord’s in trouble!
My rating: 8
See you till the next episode!
(Package arrives)
Hmm? *reads from tag* Hi! Sorry I stole that line from you. I hope this makes up for it. Yours truly, Lemon Hearts. By the way, you’re awesome!
Aww, that’s so sweet of her. (opens package to find self-exploding firecrackers) Uh-oh.
POP! BOOM! KRACKA-LACKA! POP! POP! POP! KA-CHOOOM!
YAAAAAGH! *rushes to door and slams it behind her*
*pops head out of door while wearing army helmet*
YOU GIRLS ARE IN LEAGUE WITH DISCORD, AREN’T YOU?! YOU’LL SEE! HE’LL GET WHAT’S COMING TO HIM! HE WILL GET WHAT’S COMING TO HIM!!!

Haha lol! So...the war between KidatHeart versus Lemon Hearts and Discord is a go:rainbowdetermined2: Let the games begin!:yay: Lol:derpytongue2: Anyway, let's just say...I knew you would like this episode:ajsmug: I wonder why:derpyderp2: *cough cough tears! So many tears! Cough cough* Oh man, something in my throat. I forgot to mention this in my review but wasn't Twilight's book teleporation spell awesome?!:raritystarry: I need someone to write a fanfic on this or I'll will! Also, we need a Twilight and Lyra reunion since they use to be friends too. What a coincidence with your sister and you, I have eyebrows too just like Tree Hugger's and Moon Dancer's eye brows.:pinkiehappy:

3213431 I'm glad you like my review!:pinkiehappy: I love that Twilight teleported into the book! It reminded me of those illustrations in the storybooks. However, the reviewer who did the episode follow-up on Equestria Daily said that it reminded them of the bookworm arc in the comic series.

What a coincidence with your sister and you, I have eyebrows too just like Tree Hugger's and Moon Dancer's eye brows.:pinkiehappy:

That's keen!

In terms of the eye brown conversation, it's the keenest man:ajsmug: The keenest:raritywink:
In terms of the Equestria Daily review and your thoughts on Twilight's spell, agreed the illustrations and animation for it was awesome:yay: True, it is like the comic spell only...100% cooler:rainbowdetermined2: because it's books:raritystarry:
