Man, I don't even know where to begin with this. Well, it's been a while, for starters. A bit more than a year, in fact, since I've done anything at all around FiMFiction, really. Unfortunately, life blindsided me pretty hard and I had to prioritize a lot of things over writing to keep up with it, simple as that.

Motivation is a fickle mistress, however, and I've had an overwhelming urge to write again as of late, so here I am!

I figured that it couldn't hurt to pick up my old stuff once more to see what I could do with it, but I've since lost my outline and the notes to more or less all of my planned stories, including A Goddess' Sorrow. Unsurprisingly, this makes continuing the story drastically more difficult, but I'd really rather not give up on it after the massive positive response it received.

So, here's the deal: I've spent the last few days writing like there's no tomorrow and I have the next chapter of A Goddess' Sorrow fully written out and ready to post. However, re-reading through the story, I've realized just how much my writing has improved in the past few years and I want to edit, if not fully rewrite the fist two chapters to smooth things out. They need it, bad.

My question to you, readers, is what you would like to see from me.

Should I edit the first two chapters first, then post the new one so everyone can have a semi-fresh start, or should I post the new one first and then work on the older chapters? The next chapter would be delayed slightly either way, so I suppose it comes down to how much people want new content sooner rather than later.

Thoughts? Preferences? Don't be shy, I'd seriously love some input.

I'm all for editing those and then posting the new chapter.
That way, when the new chapter gets out and more people see the story through the new update thingie on the front page (and possibly the feature box, too), they won't have to wait for the old chapters to be all shiny and new and will be able to read it before putting it in the dreadful read later list which has already claimed so many victims.

Edit the new chapters first, which will also give you time to iron out any kinks you find while doing so.

I'd say post new chapter first, so we can read it now and then re-read the other chapters later. Idk why the read later list is dreadful to come people, I have no problem checking up on it, though this is in my tracking list so I don't even need to list it as read later. (Wink wink)
