I spent Father's Day with a Gun in my Hand... and my Dad was there too I guess. (not really MLP related) · 12:42am Jun 22nd, 2015
The weather was awesome where I live today. What better way to celebrate your Dad's own day by shooting paper and steel targets with him? I'm leaving out actual pics of our creepy ugly mugs to protect all of you and lower your Brain Bleachâ„¢ consumption. I started on the steel range first, mainly going for headshots on the zombies.
I was using th HK USP 40 today, so far it's my favorite and fits my hands the best, and i really kinda wanna get Pinkie Pie's cutie mark painted on the slide. That and maybe a way to stamp her cutie mark on my ammo...
I only had two hundred rounds of ammo with me so we weren't there long at all, but it was good fun. I'm no marksman nor am I a gun-nut either; I just like to have fun shooting at targets. That being said I think I did okay today as here's my target I was shooting at 15 yards. To all the real shooters and marksmen out there, I know my groupings suck, but I'm pretty sure that target is dead as dead can be. I'm rather amused that my headshots are more accurate than my center-mass shots. So yeah, good times!
HEADSHOT!!
Yay? I'm happy you had fun!
Anyone else noticed Winchester?
Practicing for the apocalypse?
3170104 Haha I wish, but I live in California which has really stupid gun laws. It's practically illegal to have a gun that is even fitted for suppressors, hell you can't even have more than a 10 round clip.
3170433 Yeah sure am! Actually the Winchester ammo was on sale, and it's also pretty much the cheapest most common ammo on the market. Still expensive though... even on sale each 100 round brick of bullets was like $75
Nice I live in Britain where guns are illegal the police don't even have them
3173479 Yeah the regular police there doesn't, but your Special Operations and Anti-Terrorism police force gets sweet HK MP7's Oh man I want one soo bad, but they're $37,000 here for civilians in the US.
3173514 at least you can buy one Even if it does cost that much
