Funny how things turn out. I wanted to post this for a while, but my first blog post in months is about something that got to me WAY more than it should. Stupid caffeine, making me feel things...
That said, I realize that it's been a long time since I've been here. I've come in and checked for comments, likes, or PMs every now and then, but I haven't posted a story since last year. So I wanted to post here to let you guys know what's been up with me.
As many of you know, I got hired to the writing staff of Legends of Equestria. That was a big deal for me, and it still is. Now that I've been working on it for over half a year, I can say that it's been some of the most satisfying work of my life, and I'm so grateful to have this spot.
But that's when I'll have to mention a things you might not like.
You see, I've been very productive over there, and I think I know why: The writing style I use there is closer to a screenplay in design, and anyone who knows screenplay form knows that it's MUCH different than how you write a story here. In all honesty, I think that's the style of writing I prefer. I know you guys have enjoyed my stories here, but looking back, I think I struggled a bit with the format for them, and while I've gotten MUCH better with it over the years, I think script form comes much more naturally for me.
Not only that, but there was something very...incredible about working on a game. It felt so uplifting contributing to a game like that, and it made me feel important like few things have. I want to add to the game so badly, because I know it's important to a lot of people. Not that I haven't touched peoples' lives with fanfiction, but I was more or less writing to prove something to myself a lot of the time. Now, I'm working with a team to get a game finished.
I think you all know where this is leading, so let's get to it: Unless something major comes up, I'm done writing for FIMFiction for the foreseeable future. I might help a friend with a story, but that's it for me. This is the reason why I wanted to do this post, so you can all have closure when it comes to me.
But don't worry. I'm still going to write pony, just not for this site. And I'll likely move on to bigger things in the future. I want writing to be my career, and I think I've gotten off to a great start. But I know the future will be even better.
And thank you all for being there to help me out. A few good words can be the wind a boat needs to start moving, and you were certainly that for me. Don't ever be afraid to praise someone like you've done for me, you never know how much good you'll do for that person.
Not many can find their true calling but you certainly have, good luck with you future endevors and i belive i speak for all your fans when i say we will miss your stories on the site and look forward to what you will add to the game.
Well, I have to say, I very much enjoy your writing, and having looked into Legends of Equestria, it intrigues me. I think, either way, I'll be keeping up with your stuff, but I won't deny that I for one will still be here if you do come back to write.
At least if you leave what stories you have got where they are and don't remove them, that will be okay by me.
3131483 Not really me, can't care any less about the game.

I don't really either but if you like his work, then would't you want to see his contribution to the game?
Even if you don't play.
3136308 Whoa, back up a moment. Didn't actually say I liked his work. I can tolerate it at best.
And in answer to the question: no.

I have to ask then, why you here?
I find it odd you would comment on a blog made by a author you don't care about, are you the kind of guy that just comment for commenting sake?
