Got a lot of stuff for you today! For starters, we're making this the 'ask the author' thing that happened a few weeks ago, but this way it's up in time for you all to notice it! Second, I normally write a blog after each chapter of TLRH. Well, that's going up tomorrow, but I'm putting up the blog now.
First of all, I'm reading this computer screen without glasses for the first time in over a decade. From the guy who had a 20/200 vision before, I'm reading better than 20/20. Now, I may have to wear sunglasses outside for a year, but I don't really see that as a drawback.
On the down side, I did have a few days off to choke down my steady diet of eye drops. Apparently your tear ducts drain into your throat, and I can confirm that steroid eye drops taste awful. Using those days, I wrote a couple of songs, both of which are up on my soundcloud, to include the one going with the next chapter of TLRH:
-----THIS IS A LINK BELOW...I REALLY NEED TO RETHINK HAVING ALL MY BLOG TEXT AS GREEN...-----
Cool Tune Here! (Totally a shameless plug)
Recording that was a cast-iron b!@#, for reasons i can't fathom. It's like turning on recording devices makes me fail at life. Back when I tried to record video game clips, I'd do just fine until the screen recorder switched on, and then I'd just suck. As for recording that song, there is nothing in it more difficult than the musical equivalent of walking in a straight line at a constant pace with even steps, but it was still frustrating.
On a more fun note, hit me with any questions, silly, serious, pertinent, or not! And as always, if you don't have any for me, I have one for you: I have 3....4? Something like that songs all finished up for future TLRH chapters. I don't post them in case I want to make edits later, but I'm beginning to suspect I should just go ahead and leave these alone. Should I go ahead and post them early?
And the million dollar question...should I get my behind ready and submit them to EQD?

I say go for it. It's not often that things work out that well (some of the best songs were written on a diet of chemicals. I guess eye-drops count).
