Hello Everyone! I hardly know what to say. "You Brighten My Day" has really brightened my day...in more ways than one!
Let's see where to start. The new fic has only been up for a little over a day! It only has one chapter, a mere 7,111 words, compared to some of my other works. And already it has:

and an astonishing 190 favorites!
And that's not all... Thanks to this story I now have a total of 100 followers! I can't thank you all enough for your support!!
If that's not enough, the new story has been holding onto the number 8 slot of the popular stories list! I can hardly believe it's this popular. I've hardly even begun writing this story. I know other better stories are bound to come along and knock it off the list, but one of my fics has never lasted on the popular list this long before. And I know I owe it all to you amazing followers! Your support means more than words could ever say!
That said, I am happy to announce that I've been brainstorming the events of Chapter 2 and have gotten a nice start for it. Hopefully the weekend will see Chapter 2 added to the list before too long. But I assure you I will give it due attention!
BTW, Celestia couldn't be happier with the story's support either! So here's another pic that fits one of the scenes from Chapter 1!
EDIT: Didn't realize she was missing her shoes and jewelry, so this doesn't fit chapter 1. But it's still a nice pic of Celestia!

Leave it to me to miss her lack of jewelry, especially after I clearly recalled writing the part you just referenced. Looks like a

I guess her beauty from the lack of her jewelry in that pic is what stood out to me. 
Okay then, instead of chapter 1, we can always make it a scene from a later chapter. You'll have to pardon me, I work all night shift and it's amazing I can write half as good as I do sometimes.
