I would like to take this time to thank you all for your patience and understanding in this time of strife. The inanity of political ads and rhetoric is not lost on me, but we must work within the confines of the roles and systems we are given. Fortunately, the end of June marks the last day of the campaign and the mailing of the official ballots. Remember that you must have yours post-marked before the seventh of July to have it counted. On the tenth they shall be counted and the winner announced.
If are an eligible voter and have not received your ballot by the cut-off date, please make all haste to contact your local registrar to fix their over -sight. Do not forget to include their name, a description of their cutie mark, and the reason for their failing on the back of your ballot.
