Small change! Sort's magic has changed color! · 2:45am May 27th, 2015
The title says it all! On a whim I decided to change Sortilege's magic from white to light green, the same color of her eyes. In the show, magic auras were originally the same color as the ponies eyes and then in later seasons it was changed to the color of their cutie mark. If you pay close attention to Twilight and Rarity you'll notice it. Both of there aura's become slightly darker in seasons 2 onwards, matching their cutie marks rather than eyes. For characters like Sweetie Belle they keep the eye color for the magic for obvious reasons. Now I kept with that trend when I made Sorts. Her magic was the color of her cutie mark. I have decided to change it to her eye color for a couple of reasons. One, I think it looks better and two, I had an idea for something cool that will happen later involving Sortilege's character development that would be so much better if her magic is green. So be aware that Sorts now has green magic. Also her ignition spell has been changed. Instead of a little speck of light coming out of her horn and touching things it now works as just kind of a focused spell delivered in a similar manner to telekinesis. I changed this for similar reasons as well. You'll see. It's gonna be fun 
Next chapter will be arriving soon and chapter 8 will not be long after. I'm also really happy to see that my little Project Horizons story has received a mostly positive response. Feels nice 
And lastly I'm working on a new FoE story as well. This one I don't intend to publish until it is mostly finished but it's going to be really fun. A little more serious than DD but shorter overall. An idea I came up with that I want to share with people. You should see that soon as well. TTFN! Ta ta for now!
