Audio Reading - Hearth's Warming Eve In Canterlot

At the beginning of November, I was asked by TyriusTheVA if it would be alright if he did an audio reading of one of my older stories, Hearth's Warming Eve In Canterlot for Christmas. I said yes, of course, it's been a long time since anyone has ever

    It Finally Happened

About six weeks ago, after months of Cerulean Voice telling me to submit my newest story 'What Is Lost, What Is Found' to Equestria Daily I finally caved in and did it. I made a submission and now weeks later after not so patiently waiting I got a response. What's the verdict? Well...

    Surprise!

This will probably come as a surprise to most of you, but in case you haven't already noticed I published a new story late last night. Well, it was late enough for me and Cerulean Voice. He had just spent his entire Saturday going through and thoroughly editing my story. Our deadline was 6.00 pm tonight, so I think it got done just in time.

New Story and Youtube Gaming Livestreams

Hey guys, sorry for the long period of silence. I would like to say I've been busy but since the coronavirus has forced everyone into self-isolation, I've mostly been playing video games (Kingdom Hearts and Animal Crossing New Horizons) and chilling at home.

These Heartbreak Times Chapter 3 Out Now!

I've finally updated These Heartbreak Times, only took me three months to write, rewrite, proofread and have it edited. I'm hoping it won't be this long between updates anymore. Part of the delay has been hiring another editor and the fact that I've had to fly home for my grandfather's funeral.

Memoirs of a Starving Writer · 10:41am May 25th, 2015

Ok, not literally starving but I know I haven't been particularly active on this site lately. Mostly due to things going on in my personal life, being my age its almost expected that I'll have far more important things to be doing on a Sunday afternoon. But I still feel this is a valuable part of my day, allowing myself this bit of time to catch up with everybody.

I just recently watched the newest episode and I personally really enjoyed it. It was such a surprise to see Gilda make a reappearance after nearly four season though, but I think it was a well received return and I hope to be seeing more of her character as the season develops. Griffonstone is an interesting and very distinct setting that has a rich history and unusual location. Its nice to see the map take them to more new places and I'm really curious as to where this is going. So overall, I really liked this week's episode and I'm definitely looking forward to what M.A. Larson has in-store for the 100th episode, I can't wait to see what his writing prowess will bring to the show once more.

Lately I've been really busy with my studies and my newly entered relationship. Yeah I know its kinda of weird to talk about since it is taking up so much of time I suppose I should mention that I have a boyfriend not that it matters to any of you. I'm not the sort of person who feels the need to make it Facebook official or anything. Nor do I feel the constant need to write status updates about every little milestone either. But yes, it is a new and exciting experience that is definitely worth of being turned into a story someday.

I'm feeling a little parched for fresh ideas. I really want to bring something new to the fanfiction community and maybe write something a bit longer than two or three thousand words. I really want to write something with a few or more chapters and a more complex plotline and problem. I've written a few short one-shots but the last few really weren't that strong and were also really short.

I've tried writing a couple of different ideas I had but they always seem to feel flat or I suddenly lose interest in them. So I'm really hoping that I can find a genuine source of inspiration soon or I'm afraid all of you might lose interest.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, but it has been nearly a month since I wrote one and I thought you all want to know about what's been happening lately.

Until next time,

Arcelia
