You know what's kind of a double-edged sword?

I like writing, but I have little time to do it. I have two kids, after all, and one of them is practically newborn, plus college and junk... Other people seem to handle their time better, but that's not my real concern.

No, it's both a blessing and a curse that my writing improves when I'm between publishing chapters. Hey, I'm getting better! Oh wait, my style is now different enough to be noticeable when moving from one chapter to another. Dammit.

I've already changed up a lot of stuff and had some time downtime since. Am I gonna have to do it all over again? Should I go back to the previous style, despite my skill improving, even just a little bit? I'll tell you, it's very discouraging.
