I like writing, but I have little time to do it. I have two kids, after all, and one of them is practically newborn, plus college and junk... Other people seem to handle their time better, but that's not my real concern.

No, it's both a blessing and a curse that my writing improves when I'm between publishing chapters. Hey, I'm getting better! Oh wait, my style is now different enough to be noticeable when moving from one chapter to another. Dammit.

So I'm finally posting a new chapter! Kind of. The side stories I mentioned earlier will be just short little distractions from the main storyline, either being just an in-depth look at something, maybe some backstory on a character, or just something silly. We'll see for sure what happens.

After finally getting a professional proofreader to take a look at my story, it has been pointed that, along with the usual missed commas and such, I have been a victim to 'Lavender Unicorn Syndrome'. I know I have. I used those modifiers on purpose and I felt like they worked well with the story.

I'm happy about this one! So, I'm almost finished with the next chapter (I know, I know, take so DAMNED LONG, Jackie!) but I have a little thing I'm going to do to keep the story active. I'm going to introduce little side stories every so often. They will consist of either moments that happen between chapters focusing on the Timid or Jackie, (to add some flavor to the background behind the characters) or to introduce our other OC's having funny little moments in their own settings.
