Going on Hiatus · 10:10pm May 7th, 2015
Well, not really a hiatus. I'm pretty much leaving, like, for good. I might pop back in and finish a chapter or two if I get motivated, but for the most part I won't be writing pony fic any more.
The explanation below is probably going to get a bit lengthy, so I'll put my contacts here at the top:

Now, on to why I'm leaving.
It can be summed up pretty much by "this community is abusive as hell why the fuck was I here this long to begin with", but I digress, I did enjoy it for a while. A pretty long while, seeing as I started this account in August of 2011 - four years.
These four years were also spent on a brony social networking site known as iBrony, and later it's successor PhilomenaMagikz. These were, quite possibly, the four years where I was treated the worst. Things like being guilted into erotic roleplay when I was fourteen, being hit on by twenty-year-olds because I was 'mature for my age', being told my sexuality didn't exist, being asked by a homophobe I barely knew (and who I had told to already leave me alone because he moderated a site with a large number of users that harassed me and did nothing about it) whether or not I had been raped, being told my site was all a scam so I could 'get money for a new phone', having people I considered friends mock me behind my back... the list goes on. And the only people who bothered to stand up for me weren't bronies.
And in case you think I'm making this up, have some screencaps of it. (Chances are most of them are still up, because I was falsely perma-banned and they used that to keep me from being able to get help as I was 'no longer a user'. Maybe it's because I turned down a twenty-year-old's request to date underage me.
All of these are from after I left their shitty site (some almost half a year after) so yeah associating with bronies in any way disgusts me and I kind of hate being on this site so often! Seeing as most of you don't care about my OC stories - the ones I care about - I'm sure you'll find something else to latch on to.

I've cleared all but my closest friends from my Skype contacts, and as it was people I had trusted that ended up mocking me the most I'm not comfortable with letting just anybody have it.

I doubt anything could be said to cheer you up. That kind of behavior is atrocious, especially among Bronies. All it does is give a bad name to a mostly good group. I hope things get better for you and that you don't think too harshly of the whole group just because of several bullies. May you find some true friends and happier days to come.

Sorry you had to deal with that. The entire community in general is one of the reasons I'm kinda out too. Some people like you and a few others are amazing people, but sorry to say this to others reading this, but I'm kinda disgusted with how a lot of people on this site view things in life.

It's unfortunate that some people feel the need to put down others when they aren't getting what they want out of life. I find the best method to deal with unreasonable people is to cut ties with them. Any required interaction is formal and short, and don't give in when they start acting up looking for a response. Be the better person and let them dig their own hole. You said you are 14? Life tends to get really shitty right about there, and highschool will either help or make things worse. Once you get past it life gets better. Find some good friends, stick it out while you figure out what you want your future to look like, and never look back... except maybe to laugh at the assholes wasting their lives.
Simply leaving one fandom for another isn't going to change anything, sorry to say. Every fandom has shitty people, and places that attract those shitty people. PhilomenaMagikz sounds like one of them.
Looking at your age, I see you making the mistakes that I often made when I was 14-17 on the internet. Getting into the wrong website with the wrong crowd, and attempting to argue against an established circlejerk. You need to learn how to deal with these kinds of situations, or all of this is just going to happen again and force you out of another fandoms.
Stop posting, block contact, ignore them, then look for a new website that caters to what you enjoy.
There's dozens of them out there. Don't just throw away something you enjoy because of a single bad website community.
The first screenshot is a prime example of doing the wrong thing. You didn't want to talk to him, so you should never have accepted the request in the first place.

I'm sorry for trying to give you advice on how to deal with arseholes on the internet, from personal experience.
And yet you replied to him again and again after telling him immediately to "Fuck off". This was the wrong thing to do. Even saying "Fuck off" was what he wanted. If it was someone who you knew was a part of the problem, you should have just blocked him immediately. Instead you fueled the fire.
People like that feed off ANY contact with you in which you are angry. Hell, you don't even need to be angry for them to enjoy it. You get past it by ignoring them.
I'm saying you made mistakes because I've been through all of this before. Around 7 odd years ago I left a MMO guild full of arseholes, because they were arseholes. Within 2 days I was getting abusive convos left and right, and my Email spammed with dozens of abusive messages from dozens of email addresses. This went on for two months. Convos, Emails, chat requests, group requests.
I got past it by flat out ignoring them, blocking any new account they made to get in contract with me immediately (It takes them several minutes to make a new account. Takes me 1 second to permanently block it), and not replying or caring about their opinion. Then finding a new community within the game that wasn't filled with pricks. By the second month the most they managed to get from me was an eyeroll and muttering to myself "Ah, another alt-account" because I learnt that they don't matter in the slightest!
I didn't get past it by leaving the game I loved, paying attention to their sperging, getting angry when they contacted me, and giving them a source of amusement for months and months.

Ah, well still, life was terrible for me until I was 20 and didnt start going anywhere until I was 24. If you have solid evidence of them propositioning you then they can be brought up on charges.
3053746 I dont think it has anything to do with hold you to higher standard than them so much as the fact that the only thing in life you have control over is yourself. It took me a long time to come to terms with that. All of this especially applies to the internet, because it makes it that much easier to cut of ties with someone who is bullying you, all you need to do is stop visiting that site; I couldnt do that when I was bullied in middle school, I had to sit near those kids and listen to their shit every day of the week.
We all grow up wanting to change the world for the better. It may just be the cynic in me, but the vast majority of the world doesnt want to, any many will fight you every step of the way. I wish you luck on your life journey, wherever it may take you.
